WHO WE ARE

Director: Mikayla Gilmer

Ms. Gilmer is enjoying her first year at Musselman High School as a 9th Grade English Teacher and Broadcast Journalism Teacher. She graduated from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA where she studied Education & Theater. While studying, she would travel to her alma mater to direct the Middle School Winter Musicals. Consecutively, she has directed Peter Pan Jr., Aladdin Jr., Mary Poppins Jr., and The Little Mermaid Jr., Additionally, Ms. Gilmer helped to start an Elementary School Summer theater program and acted as camp counselor to Children’s and Teen theater companies back in Pittsburgh.

Hello! My name is Abigail Lieb and I am a Title One Teacher at Eagle School Intermediate. I am 24 years old, and I just completed my masters' degree in Reading Intervention at Clarion University in May 2020! My undergraduate degree is in Special Education K-8/7-12. I grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and moved to West Virginia with my best friend, who also got a job in Berkeley County School district. I am so excited to be a part of this production!

I was involved in musicals and the drama club all of middle/high school. I was a cast member in a total of 11 productions over my 7 years at North Hills High School: including 42nd Street, Alice in Wonderland, and Footloose. When I was in high school, I helped to student direct the middle school shows as well. Some of my favorite memories are in the drama club so I am overjoyed to be working on this production with you all!
